Signed black and white lithograph by Folmer Bendtsens titled ‘Sydhavnen, båd på land’ (Sydhavnen, Boat on Land) from 1966. The work is made in 54 copies.

Folmer Bendtsen was a Danish painter who became known as the painter of the working class. In his paintings, he illustrated the life of the workers in Nørrebro, Sydhavnen and especially in the Northwest Quarter, where he was living. His works can be seen in a number of Danish museums, e.g. Statens Museum for Kunst, ARoS and Nordjylland’s Art Museum. He is also the father of Kristine Bendtsen, who is behind Bendtsens at Danas Plads 10.
