Small offset invitation with artwork by Alberto Giacometti for exhibition at Galerie Maeght in Paris 1979.
Alberto Giacometti was a Swiss sculptor, painter, draftsman, and printmaker, renowned for his distinctive sculptures of elongated human figures. His work is often associated with existentialism and reflects deep explorations of the human condition, space, and perception. Giacometti is considered one of the most important sculptors of the 20th century.
In Denmark, he is best known as the creator of Woman on a Carriage erected at the old town hall in Holstebro, which came to symbolize this city's cultural foresight in the 1960s.
The piece is framed with a narrow hand painted black frame, light gray passepartout, and a light background.
