The art is by Alberto Magnelli, who was a prominent Italian painter known for his significant contributions to abstract and concrete art in the 20th century. Born in Florence, Italy, Magnelli was a self-taught artist who began painting in 1907. Initially influenced by Renaissance masters like Paolo Uccello and Piero della Francesca, he later engaged with the Italian Futurists, including Filippo Tommaso Marinetti and Umberto Boccioni. Despite these associations, Magnelli maintained an independent approach, gradually moving towards abstraction in the 1910s.

The piece is framed with a hand made deep oak wood frame and is placed on a light background.
